about us

join us As We grow

O`ahu Jewish 'Ohana is a k’hilah kedosha, a sacred community rooted in the philosophy and practices of Reform Judaism.  As such, we seek opportunities to express our Jewish identity in ways that are mindful, ethical, and respectful, and to explore the diverse ways that Jewish thought and practice can bring meaning to modern  life.

We are committed to being an active, caring, inclusive Jewish community — one that values our members’ diversity of backgrounds, experiences, thoughts and practices.  We strive together to create a community that values connections with each other, supports participation in worship and Jewish learning, and engages in the pursuit of social justice through action.

Board of Directors

We are a new, vibrant, open, welcoming, diverse Jewish Community on Oahu. Our members gather to engage in spiritual growth, communal worship, social justice and action, and learning. We are a dynamic community, committed to all members, including our children, youth, young and mature adults. We gather regularly to celebrate Shabbat, holidays, life events and participate in the growth of our ` Ohana and our greater community.  We value inclusion, participation, communication and action that are all rooted in Judaism.

Over the past year we have gathered together for a number of religious, educational and social activities. We have participated in a full slate of holiday celebrations and services including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Passover and Shabbat. Most recently we embraced possession of our first Torah.

Join us and be a part of the community to create and sustain a meaningful Jewish experience for you and your family!
