Several OJO members have previously enjoyed gift-wrapping for Family Program Hawaii’s annual Holiday party.
Our volunteer commitment will be as “Floaters” to assist where needed.
This year we have the opportunity to volunteer at the actual party. How nice to see those gifts end up in happy arms! This is the description of the event from one of the organizers:
On December 2, 2018, Family Programs Hawaii will host the 20th Annual Holiday Party for keiki in foster care. With over 800 volunteers, this magical event brings together over 1,500 kids in foster care and their families for a fun-filled day of lively entertainment, activities, a tasty meal, fellowship and a special gift from Santa.
Welcome to our Community!
Join us as we create and sustain a meaningful Jewish experience

OJO's guest speaker Eve Jochnowitz, translated for a new generation of devotees of delicious and healthy eating: a groundbreaking, mouthwatering vegetarian cookbook originally published in Yiddish in pre-World War II Vilna and miraculously rediscovered more than half a century later.
